Biography

Peter Kimball was born in Surry County, Virginia and moved at a young age to Granville County area of North Carolina, later to become Warren County, N.C. He had four brothers from whom most of the Southern Kimballs, Kimbells, Kimbriels, Kimbrells, etc, descend.[1]

"Peter and Winnifred Kimball, who sold land in Bute County in 1766, a forerunner of Warren County, were most likely the parents of Luck's wife."[2]
