Biography

Hannah Kimball, daughter of Levi and Abigail (Sissons) Kimball, was born on 27 Oct. 1769 at Norwich, New London Co., Connecticut.[1][2]

She married Samuel Darbee on 30 Sep 1790 at Jewett City, New London Co., Connecticut. [1]

She appeared on the census of 19 Aug. 1850 in the household of her son, Chester Darbee, and daughter-in-law, Emily (Voorhees) Darbee, at Rockland, Sullivan Co., New York.[3]

She died on 15 Dec. 1851 at Rockland, Sullivan Co., New York, at age 82[2] and was buried at Westfield Flats Cemetery, Roscoe. Her memorial has a photo of her headstone with the inscription: "82 yrs & 9 dys - relict of Samuel Darbee" and links to those of family members.[4]
