Biography
When Sarah A. "Sallie" Kimble was born on July 4, 1861, in Copiah, Mississippi, her father, Samuel, was 41, and her mother, Sarah, was 36. She married Mr. David Jackson Laird (1840–1926) on June 25, 1880, in her hometown. They had eight children:[1]

- Mattie Gertrude (1882–1957)
- John Hershel (1883–1977)
- Hersia (1884–)
- Julius Buel (1885–1959)
- Paul E. (1891–)
- Mary (1892–)
- David Jackson, Jr. (1895–1991)
She died on June 18, 1926, at the age of 64, and was buried in Lincoln, Mississippi.[2]
