Biography

Doyle Duane Kimbro was born on February 25, 1948 to Doyle Henry and Mary Kimbro. He passed away on February 16, 2014 at the age of 65, just four days after his loving father had passed. Doyle Duane enjoyed fishing, camping and days spent at Sea Cliff and Santa Cruz. Doyle had a small farm where he always grew a large garden and had many animals to tend to. His beloved boxer, Mia, was his constant companion who adored him. In the past he worked for Pepsi, had Kimbro’s Store in Planada and ended a long work career with the Fresno Bee. Doyle was very involved in his son’s sports teams and loved his family very much. He is preceded in death by his father, Doyle Henry Kimbro; in-laws, Joe and Mary Jane Ferreira; and grandson, David Granger. Mr. Kimbro is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 47 years, Dede; sons, Jason (Shelly) Kimbro and Jeremy Kimbro; daughter, Rosita Hernandez; grandchildren, Adrianna, Kevin, Savannah, Hannah, Natalie and Joshua; great granddaughter, Lilly; brother, Keith (Kim) Kimbro; sister-in-law, Sharon (Joe) Faria; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Doyle will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on April 5, 2014 at the Le Grand Legion Hall, 12560 Le Grand Road, Le Grand, CA. Arrangements under the direction of Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, Merced, CA.
