Gerald Irwin Kime was born on 21 Apr 1911 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, United States, son of William Harris Kime (1883–1947) and Mary Jane (Irwin) Kime (1888–1965).
Gerald had a brother, Charles Sherman Kime (1909–1957).
Gerald died on 6 Feb 1994 in Indiana, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 82.[1] He was buried in Uniontown Cemetery, Uniontown, Indiana County, Pennsylvania.
Gerald married Mary Avanell (Yeager) Kime (born on 25 Feb 1914 in Burnside, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, United States; daughter of Frederick Hillis Yeager and Florence Vandalia (Beck) Yeager).
