Biography
Alfred was born in 1834. He was the son of Abraham Kime and Eliza Brower. He passed away in 1895.
Research
The 1870 census has A. 'Kime' age 30 in Westralia, Montgomery, Kansas, with Elizabeth (and consistant with son George who was born in Missouri) George is buried in Coffeyville and his tombstone has the spelling KIME: Find A Grave: Memorial #34962198 Alfred P. Kime
The 1880 census of Coffeyville, Kansas shows Alfred 'Kime' age 43, with wife Elizabeth (as in the Kansas Census),
Alfred's death in December 1895 allows interpretation of Coffeyville census of March 1895, (with son Alfred Kines), which includes the father A. Kine, to be the man of this profile. That census shows his age as 61 and his birth state as North Carolina. With a birth year of 1834, we find that he is not the son of William Kines, due to William Kines already having died.
It is appropriate to dismiss Alfred as a son of William Kine and probably also dismiss him from being KINE at all.
