Biography
George Coughlin, age 58, a farmer and wife Catherine, age 53, both born Prince Edward Island, were in Lot 8, PEI with Peter 26, John 24, Martha, 22, Bridget 18, and Rachel, 16.
In 1891, George and Catherine were living in Lot 8, PEI with their son John. Bridget Griffin, age 28 and Willie and Clifford Griffin were lodgers in the household.
Catherine was a widow in 1901, living with her son John. The family didn't know her date of birth, but estimated 1826. John was the head of household; also living with him were his brother Peter and sister Rachel.
Catherine died at home on the O'Leary Road in 1902.
