Biography
He was the son of Thomas Kincheloe and Nancy Edwards. The date of his birth is recorded in his father's Revolutionary War pension file #W1620 from when his mother applied for a widows pension.
Philip was married to Caroline Stith in 1823. She was a daughter of Dr. John Stith and Susannah Hightower. The couple resided in Breckenridge County, Kentucky until around 1840. They then removed to Wright County, Missouri where Philip passed in 1887.
