Jesse Kinder, 1794 - 1868 Jesse Kinder was born on March 14 1794, in Wythe Co, Va., to Jacob Kinder and Elizabeth Kinder (born Steffey). Jacob was born in 1765, in Wythe, Virginia, United States. Elizabeth was born in 1766, in Lancaster, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States.

Jesse had 7 siblings: Maria Kinder, John Kinder, Amos Kinder, Peter Kinder, Elizabeth Kinder, Joseph Kinder and Abraham Kinder.

Jesse married Mary Polly Kinder (born Berger) on August 30 1815, at age 21 in Washington Co, Virginia, United States. Mary was born on September 1 1797, in Washington Co. Va..

They had 13 children: Delilah Gillum (born Kinder), Polly Ann Gillum (born Kinder), Elizabeth McClary (born Kinder), Katherine 'Katie' Kinder, Amanda Jemima Havird (born Kinder), Maria Clark (born Kinder), David Kinder, Malinda Kinder, Henry Kinder, William Kinder, Martha Elizabeth Kinder, Isaac Kinder and Rachel Kinder.
