Biography

Sally was born in 1778. She was the daughter of William and Hannah King.

She married Martin Sedgwick (b. 10 March 1774, d. 9 June 1853) on 26 February 1801. They had 10 children.

Extract from her father's last Will and Testament:

"(8) I give, and bequeath to my daughter Sally, wife of Martin Sedgwick, sixty dollars, to be raised from my personal estate, to be paid by my executor hereafter named, in one year next after my decease.

I the said William King, have hereunto set my hand, and seal, to this my last will and testament, this seventh day of October, in the year of our Lord, one thousand, eight hundred and fourteen. "

Sally passed away in 1820 at the age of 42, most probably during childbirth as her last child was born and died in 1820.
