Biography

James was born in France, probably Paris.[1]

Children of James King, 4th Baron Kingston and Elizabeth Meade

  1. Margaret d. 29 Jan 1763
  2. William d. 7 Dec 1755
  3. Elizabeth.

He died on 28th December 1761 in Hampshire.[2] Most of his estate went to his only surviving child Margaret as his wife Isabella died just before him. His will included sundry bequests to:[3]

  1. granddaughter Caroline Fitzgerald
  2. nephew James Butler's sons Robert, Edmund, John and George
  3. any sons his nephew Gerald Alexander Butler might have.
