George David King was born in Wandsworth, Surrey on 11 June 1803, and baptised at All Saints, Wandsworth on 10 July 1803, the son of Edward and Elizabeth King. [1]
He married Elizabeth Evans nee Pearce. This may have been the marriage in Maidstone, Kent on 17 August 1834 [2]
George and Elizabeth were living in Marden, Kent in 1837 when their daughter Mary was born, but by 1841 they had moved to Goudhurst, and were living at Winch Hill Farm:
The family relocated to Rochester some time before 1848, when their daughter Ann was baptised there. In 1851, they were living in John Street, Rochester:

George died in Deptford, Kent in 1874, his age was given as 78 years old [7]
