Hi Vincent. Sounds like you've done a lot of King research. Do you know any sources for King branches that moved to Mississippi? Specifically, I'm looking for parents of Ellender/Eleanor/Nelly King, who was born around 1790 in Mississippi (birthplace listed as Miss in 1850 census. She married Isaac Irwin in Kentucky in 1808. It makes most sense if she was part of the Jersey Settlers from Long Island then Chester, NJ. They moved to Natchez, but things got rough in the 1790s because the Spanish required everyone to be Catholic. It makes sense they could have given up and travelled up the rivers to KY. However, Kings who intermarried with my family in Kentucky and Indiana have ancestors from Stafford or Fauquier VA. Haven't found Ellen in any trees that make sense- Ring any bells?
