Robert was born in 1821. He was the son of James William King and Caroline Cleaver. [1] He was baptised at St luke, Chelsea by Rev William Cleaver on 12 june 1821. At that time his father was a Captain in the Royal Navy.
On 4 September 1848 Robert married Amelia Mary Perry at Delhie, West Bengal, India. [2] Amelia died 26 November 1870 at Calcutta Bengal India. She is buried in the Episcopal Or Chowringhee cemetery and her nationality was American. [3]
On the 7 January 1874 Robert married Mary Isabella de Vismes at Christ church, in the parish of Cheltenham in the County of Gloucester. She was the daughter of Edward de Vismes. Robert's father was hon. James W king, Rear-Admiral (Deceased). Robert was a widower. The witnesses were Edward de Vismes and Geraldine M K Money. [4]
He passed away in 1881.
