William died in 1871, killed before daughter Mollie was born. He had gone with a posse and while going down a steep embankment his horse skidded and crushed him in the fall.
Widow Nancy married second to James Temple, 01 Dec 1875, in Texas. Children:
James and family were shown in the 1880 census, Precinct 4, Wilson County, Texas:
James died in 1923.
In 1930 Nancy was living in the home of her daughter Dona Cox and husband Sollie W. Cox, in Austin, Travis County, Texas.
Nancy Ann died 3 Oct 1941 (aged 97), Austin, Travis County, Texas, and is buried in Live Oak Cemetery, Brady, McCulloch County, Texas with husband Jim.
