In 1900 The Chockley King family was living in Harlan County, Kentucky, United States on a rented farm. He was 63 (Jan 1837) born in North Carolina, married 30 years, working as a farmer and cannot read or write. His wife Kizzie was 52 (Sep 1847) born in Kentucky, has 13 children with 11 living and cannot read or write. The others in the home were children: Offey 23 (Jul 1876); Garfiled 19 (Jan 1881); Amy 17 (Nov 1882); Alice 11 (Aug 1888); Rebecca P 9 (Oct 1890).[1]
