Margaret Patricia King was born on 24 March 1926 in Gortnahoe, Tipperary, her father, Daniel King , was 35, and her mother, Norah Mahoney was 24. She married Thomas Henry Cooper on 28 September 1949. They had six children during their marriage. She died on 20 January 2018 at the age of 91.
