Biography

Granddad was the minister for Forest Hills Southern Baptist Church, Hwy 37 north of Quitman, Texas. He was also the printer of the local newspaper , The Wood County Democrat. Early Sunday mornings, he walked to town and ministered to the inmates of the county jail He then walked back to the church and held all classes and services. He was well loved and respected in the community.
