The names and dates are congruent, as well as family names in the index who appear to have traveled together from Ireland to Virginia to North Carolina. These names have intermarried with the King family. Scots-Irish often traveled in family groups - usually led by a minister. St. P & K Church was a Protestant Church ( Church of Ireland) at this time which contained a sizable number of Scot-Irish who were colonizers for the Crown. They may have migrated when religious tensions due to Republicanism and resurgence of Catholic dominance was on the rise.
