Oliver was born in 1928. He was the son of Daniel King. He passed away in 1970.
His 3rd GGF was Oliver Holmes, a governor of Hawaii around 1810. His 3rd GGM was Mahi Kalanihooulumokuikekai, a Hawaiian Chiefess.
His uncle was Samuel Wilder King, Hawaii Territorial Governor from 1953-57. Oliver was the great grand nephew of William Heath Davis Jr. who founded modern San Diego.
His 3rd great grandfather was Robert Davis, who participated in the Boston Tea party.
