Disputed Marriages
There were two daughters named Hannah in the blended household of James Cutler, Hannah Cutler, his daughter from his first marriage, and Hannah King, his second wife's daughter from her first marriage. This has led to confusion.
Robert Charles Anderson, in The Great Migration, argues that the language of James Cutler's will leads one to the following conclusions:[1]
Hannah King, born c1644, married John Winter
Hannah Cutler, born 26 jul 1638, married John Coller
They were born about four years apart.
Saying "my daughter" in a will covers more than biological connection.
An alternative view holds that:
Hannah King, born 1638 in Watertown, Massachusetts, was the daughter of Mary, the second wife of James Cutler), by her first husband, Thomas King.
Hannah Cutler, born July 26, 1638, is the daughter of James Cutler, by his first wife, Anna. Hannah Cutler married John Winter about 1660 in Watertown.
The two Hannahs were born about 3 months apart.
The will of James Cutler mentions daughter, Hannah, not stepdaughter or daughter of my wife, Mary. The Stuart Bloom assessment of the will of James Cutler appears to be in error.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Hannah by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Hannah:
Cutler-145 and King-4715 do not represent the same person because: These profiles represent two different women who have been identified as the Hannah who married John Winter.
