Biography

John King, son of Richard and Margaret King, was born on Mar 11, 1743 in Brunswick, New Jersey. He moved with his family to Rowan County, North Carolina, where he married Rachel (me also be Rhoda from Bible) Young of Winsbore, North Carolina and lived near Snow Creek Church in Rowan County (later became Iredell County in 1778), North Carolina.

Parents: Richard King (1705 - 1783) and Margaret Barkley King (1710 - 1785)

Spouse: Rachel (Young) King (1747 - 1828)
