He passed away in 1974.[3]. His obituary [4] says:
Arthur Seward Kingman, 57, of Mount Prospect, a charter planner for United Air Lines, with 33 years of service, died Wednesday in Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, after a short illness.
He was born Nov. 15,1916.
Surviving are his widow, Captola, nee Melott; a son, David Kingman, who is an infielder for the San Francisco Giants Baseball Team; a daughter, Mrs. Nell (Joseph) Genovese; four sisters, Mrs. Catherine Phillips, Mrs. Mary Williams, Mrs. Helen Lett and Mrs. Dorothy Colantuono, and a brother, John Kingman.
