Mary was a life long resident of Coventry, Connecticut. She probably was born while the family lived at Wright's Mill. The family later moved to North Coventry to a large house and farm once owned by the Grant family. She lived in multi-generational households with extended family. She raised her step-daughters, Annie and Hattie. She seems to have been interested in genealogy. She researched and supplied information for the Kingsbury Genealogy.
