Biography

Abraham was baptized in Boxford, Suffolk, England, 9 February 1567/8, the son of James Kingsbury and Agnes (_____) Kingsbury. ("Abrahm Kingsburye sonne of James Kingsburye & Agnes his wyffe the ixth of ffebruarye [1567]".)[1]

He married at Boxford, 1 November 1593, Katyn Offwoode, whose ancestry is not known.[2]

Kingsbury and Talcott report Abraham Kingsbury and Katyn Offwoode as the parents of four daughters,[3] baptized Boxford,

  1. Anne Kingsbury, baptized 20 November 1604, "Anne Kinsberye the daughter of Abraham Kinsbery the xxth of November [1604]"[4]
  2. Ciciley ingsbury, baptized 19 January 1606/7, "Cicelye Kinsbery the daughter of Abraham Kinsbery the xixth of Januarye [1606]."[5]
  3. Susanna Kingsbury, baptized 1 February 1609/10, "Susanna Kinsbery the daughter of Abraham Kinsbery the first of ffebruary [1609]."[6]
