Biography

Azubah was born on Nov 17, 1776 in Wrentham, Massachusetts. ^[1]

Prior to 1797 Azubah moved with her parents to the town of Medway, Massachusetts and on January 13, 1797 she and her fiancé, Henry Ellis, filed their Intention to Marry (posted the banns). ^[2] They married in Medway on March 1, 1797, ^[3] and raised their 9 children there.

By 1850 Azubah was a widow, she was living in a large household with two of her sons, Willard and Henry, and their families. ^[4]

At the age of 81, on March 23, 1858, Azubah passed away in Medway ^[5] and she is buried in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Millis, Massachusetts (formerly a part of Medway). ^[6]
