Biography

This profile is part of the Kingsmill Name Study.

Carpenter and Builder of Dublin and Bray with lots of references to him in newspapers etc.

Henry Kingsmill married Sarah Stone at Dublin (St Peter CoI), Ireland on 27 May 1824.

1836: Borrowed £400 from Reverend Henry Kingsmill.[1]

1840: Repaid £400 to Reverend Henry Kingsmill.[2]

Memorial at Dunboyne Church of Ireland Churchyard reads:

This tablet is placed here by Henry Kingsmill of Sidmonton near Bray in the County of Wicklow in memory of the following members of the family who are here interred. His Father Henry Kingsmill formerly of this town died on the 31st January 1835 aged 69. His Mother Sarah Kingsmill died 16th Sept, 1838 aged 72 years. His sister Sarah died on the 4th Jan. 1846 aged 46 years. His own son Robert Frederick died 5th July 1838 aged 4 years. Another son Robert died in infancy in 1841 and his dearly beloved wife Sarah daughter of Robert Stone of Carnew Co. Wicklow died on the 27th Dec. 1861 aged 64 years. Here also rest the remains of the above named Henry Kingsmill of Sidmonton who died on the 9th day Oct 1868 aged 69 years[3].
