William was born in 1838. He was a machinist. He emigrated from Canada to Rochester, year unknown. He and his wife Ellen had three sons, John, George and Charles. He was buried in Luke's Cemetary, West Huntington, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada. He had been living at 132 Jones St., Rochester, NY. He died of a stroke, he was 28 years old.
