Biography
Mary Crawford Kinkead, daughter of Andrew Kinkead and Ann Poage, was born 23 December 1793 in Woodford County, Kentucky. [1]
After the death of her parents around 1815, Mary and her two sisters moved to Ripley, Ohio, where they lived with their Uncle James Poage. [1]
She married farmer James Williams of Ripley, Ohion, son of John W and Ellen Williams. [1]
They were the parents of nine children. [1]
In 1850, Mary C Williams (age 57, born in Kentucky) lived in Union, Brown, Ohio with husband James Williams (age 60, born in Virginia) and children (all born in Ohio.[2]
