Sewell's Sunbury County New Brunswick Marriages, 1766-1888, Vol. 1 (Fredericton, N.B.: privately published, 1987), shows: Frederick Phillips of the Parish of Lincoln and Mary Kenney of the same place were married 10 Oct 1815 by John Hazen, J.P., in presence of John Sinckler and Thomas Phillips. They also show: George Grass of the Parish of Lincoln and Elizabeth Phillips of the same place were married 18 May 1843 by George Hayward, J.P., in presence of F.A. Perley and Daniel Kinney, and: John Grass of the Parish of Lincoln and Phebe Phillips of the same place were married 10 Jul 1853 by George Garity, Minister of the Apostolic Gospel, in presence of Calvin T. Hatch and George Grass.

Frederick stated in a land petition in 1815 that he was 22 years old, which suggests that he was born about 1793. The 1851 census for the Parish of Lincoln, Sunbury Co., N.B. (PANB, microfilm F1591), p. 16, shows: Phillips, Frederick, 24, brother, farmer, born in colony; Ahriah, 23, brother; Phoebe, 20, sister; Uriah, brother, 15.

Janice Seeley's Sunbury County 1861 Census Returns (Rusagonis, N.B.: privately published, 1994), Parish of Lincoln, p. 100, shows: Phillips, Frederick, head of household, 32, native; Elizabeth, wife, 30, native; Louisa?, dau., 8; Isaiah, son, 5; Georgianna, dau, 4; Uriah, 26, brother; Thomas, 26, labourer; Ziba, 74, resident, native.

The Last Will and Testament of Frederick Phillips (Sunbury County, N.B., Probate, PANB, RS72: microfilm F9117) was made 17 Aug 1839 and was proved 16 Sep 1839. In it he named his wife Mary, eldest son Zopher, sons Frederick I and Ahira, daughters Elizabeth Phillips, Mary Phillips, Phoebe Phillips, and youngest son Uriah Phillips, executors were his brother Thomas & friend Thos. O. Miles of Maugerville.
