Charles was born in 1893, the son of George Kinzett and Jane Ellis.[1]
He worked as a Dairy Hand.
He served in the NZ Army in the First World War as a NZ Rifle Brigade Soldier, Rifleman, Service No. 59128, H Co 29th Reinforcements, NZ Rifle Brigade.[2]
He was killed in action on 20 May 1918 in Colincamps, France and was buried in Euston Road Cemetery, Colincamps, France.[3][4][5]
His death was registered in New Zealand in 1918.[6]
