Biography

Her parents were John Joshua Kirby and Sarah Bull. She was an only daughter.

Her father was a friend of the painter Gainsborough.

She was married at St Mary Church in Ealing. [1]She had six daughters and six sons.

She was an authoress of Children's Literature and in 1782 published "Easy Introduction to the Knowledge of Nature." Another book was "Story of the Robins" in 1786.

In 1786 she established a Sinday School at St George Church Old Brentford.

She is buried in the family vault in St Mary's Church, Ealing.
