Biography

Augustus W Kirby was born in 1817 in Spartanburg, South Carolina, his father, [[Kirby-2357|Richard , was 62 and his mother, Levicey Tolleson, was 42. Augustus married Sarah F., Sarah was born about 1809 in South Carolina. He married Vashti Davis on December 17, 1865, daughter of Nathaniel Davis and Emily (Millie). Vashti was born about 1830 in South Carolina. They had three children during their marriage. He died on June 16, 1880, in Calhoun County, Alabama, at the age of 63.(un-sourced death date) ^[1]
