Biography

17 Dec 1871 in St Pancras Chapel, Camden - marriage of John James Kirby, ironmonger, son of Thoms Stobbs Kirby, lamplighter, and Emily Jane Halsted, daughter of William Halsted, cheesemonger [1]. At that time they lived at 88 Drummond Street.

John James Kirby died in 1877 and was buried on 4 May at Camden [2]

In 1881 and 1891 Emily, William, and Albert lived at 125 Whitfield Street, St Pancras. Emily was a charwoman. Today the address is a block away from the University of London and the Venezuelan Embassy. In 1901 Emily, William, and Arthur J (likely Albert James: same birthdate, occupation, and middle initial) lived at 98 Drummond Street.
