After her husband died in 1916, she moved in with her son Edward and his family at 1432 Orchard St. in Eugene.[3][7][8]
She passed away at a local hospital in Eugene, Oregon at 1 PM on 20 Sep 1944.[3][2] She had been in the hospital for 2 weeks.[2] Cause of death was "carcinoma of the gallbladder with metastasis to the liver."[2]
