Jonathan was born in 1806. He passed away in 1838.

Margaret KIrk was born April 4, 1809.

Grandpa's father was Jonathan Kirk. He, his wife and four youngest children died of fever within a short time, in Tennessee, when the oldest son, John (Grandpa) was ten years of age. [1]
