She is not the person named as Martha Kirk, mother of Edward Holstine who died in 1950. Possibly her name is Leanza Martha Kirk who married Jarvis Holstine, she is the daughter of Isaac Ephraim Kirk Jr.
It is possible she may have been unmarried, or her marriage record lost during the civil war, or may have died young. There is Martha Kirk that passed away on 4 November 1923 in Charleston.
