DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Celia by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Celia:
The death record states that Celia was born 1811 in Giles County, Virginia. I have been researching Giles County, Virginia Kirk families. I found another Kirk-Holstein marriage with a Giles County connection.
Leanza Kirk was the daughter of Isaac Ephraim Kirk, Jr. Kirk-319 and Cynthia Williams. In 1850 this Kirk family was living in Boone County, Virginia (later West Virginia) "United States Census, 1850," database with images, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M885-X8D : 23 December 2020), Lionzy Kirk in household of Isaac Kirk, Boone, Virginia, United States; citing family , NARA microfilm publication (Washington, D.C.: National Archives and Records Administration, n.d.).
Leanza died in Boone County, West Virginia in 1893. "West Virginia Deaths, 1804-1999," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N9M5-PY6 : 11 February 2018), Leanza J. Leanza's husband Jarvis J Holstein was son of William Holstein and Nancy Basham according to your FamilySearch tree. https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/K8RK-MFN This FamilySearch tree has William Holstein as the son of a (James?) Henry Holstein. The 1850 census record has Henry Holstein born about 1790, not 1754. Is it possible that William could be a son of your ancestor Stephen Holstein?
The father of Isaac Ephraim Kirk, Jr. was Isaac Ephraim Kirk, Sr. Kirk-809 He married Sarah Hunter in 1811, around the time that Celia was born. Isaac died in Boone County, West Virginia in 1875. I would look for a record that identifies Celia's father as Isaac Kirk, Sr.
Leanza M. Kirk Kirk-2814 married Jarvis J. Holstein 1864 in Kanawha County, West Virginia. She was age 21; age proven by S M Williams. http://archive.wvculture.org/vrr/va_view2.aspx?FilmNumber=521719&ImageNumber=417.
