James was born about 1700, estimated from date of marriage.
He married Anne Bamford on 15 November 1725 at Alstonfield.[1]
Anne died in 1729 and James himself died in 1736 and was buried at Alstonfield on 24 February 1735/1736 "James Kirkham of Over Elkstone".[2]
