Hardee Kirkland was an American film actor and director of the silent era. Kirkland was a character actor who appeared in forty-one silent films from 1915 to 1925. He also played the vaudeville stage.
Hardee Kirkland was born in Savannah, Georgia, on May 23, 1868, the son of former Confederate Brigadier General William Whedbee Kirkland and Susan Ann (Hardee) Kirkland. He is the older brother of the actress Elizabeth Kirkland, who performed as Odette Tyler.[1] [2]
