Note: She should not be confused with Laura Ann Sanders (daughter of Wilson and Mary Ann Sanders -- appears as age 2 in their household in 1850) who married Abner Kirkland. Many online trees are showing Laura Kirkland as his wife. The death certificates for Abner's children Walter and Eva both record their mother's maiden name as Sanders.
