Mark Kirkpatrick is an engineer and inventor. I graduated from Georgia Tech in 1981 with a bachelor's degree in Industrial Management and a minor in Spanish. My journey through Tech began as an electrical engineer but the ninth calculus course proved to be too much. My focus changed to micro-computing in the fourth year when punch cards were finally retired.
I continued my education with a graduate degree in Decision Sciences. This was one of 5 programs in micro-computing in the United states at that time.
I went on to work in Information Technology for 30 years. In that time I also produced over 50 U.S. patents.
My favorite pursuits are working with young people. I have been a soccer coach and referee for many years at RYSA. I am also a mentor for students at Georgia Tech.
My favorite hobby is bonsai. I have over 50 trees and have been doing it since 1986. I was elected president of the Atlanta Bonsai Society in 2016.
Born 5 MAY 1959. Atlanta, Ga. St Joseph's Hospital.
Residence 1986 Conyers, GA.

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree? This is what makes WikiTree different than most other genealogy sites: Our goal is to have one profile per person.
Once you confirm your email address, you’ll have an opportunity to fill in your tags to tell us about your genealogical interests.
The Tags are a way for you to connect with other genealogists on WikiTree and follow activity in the topics that interest you. You can learn more on our Tags help page.
Once you click "Save Tag(s) and Volunteer," one of our Greeters will come along to confirm your membership, and you’ll be on your way!
Welcome to the family! We’re really glad you’re here.
