George Kirkpatrick is/was a significant Ontarian .

George Airey Kirkpatrick was an Ontario-born lawyer, militia officer, politician, office holder, and businessman. He was the son of Thomas Kirkpatrick and Helen Fisher. In 1865 he married Frances Jane Macaulay, daughter of John Macaulay, and they had four sons and one daughter. After her death, he married Isabel Louise Macpherson, daughter of David Lewis Macpherson, in 1883, and they had a son.
