He married Isabel Torthorwald, daughter of David Torthorwald of Torthorwald. They had issue:

  1. Sir Roger, of Closeburn [2][3]
  2. Duncan, "The Blind Minstrel"[2]

Stephen died about 1290.[2]

Please verify dates of birth/death for subject & father. Currently, the dates on these two profiles would exclude a paternal relationship.

De Kirkpatrick-5 and Kirkpatrick-1429 appear to represent the same person because: Another generation of the family to merge. Again DOB in Kirkpatrick-1429 seems out.
