Ziegler.[6] Peter and Marie subsequently had one known child, a daughter: Eleanor Catherine, in September 1909.
When the voter registration lists were compiled in 1908, Peter was listed as living at 1512 9th Street. Alameda, California.[7]
On the 20th April 1910, the Peter Kirschbaum family was living on 9th Street, Oakland, Alameda, California. Home at the time were Peter (35), the steward of a restaurant, his wife: Mamie (24), and their 7-month-old daughter: Eleanor.[8]
On the 12th September 1918, Peter's draft registration describes him as being of medium height, stout of build, and with blond hair and blue eyes. His address was given as 607 Taylor Ave, Alameda County, California.[9]
On the 12th January 1920, the Kirschbaum family was living on Taylor Street, Alameda City. Home at the time were Peter (44), the proprietor of a lunch parlor, his wife: Minnie (33),and their daughter: Eleanor (10).[10]
Jens Peter Lauritz "Peter" Kirschbaum passed away sometime after the voter registrations of 1928 were collected (when he was listed as living at Taylor Avenue, Alameda City), and before the 2nd April 1930, as in the census enumerated on the latter date Mimi is listed as a widow living in the household of her son-in-law.[11]
