The Michael Reader muster roll is decorated at the top with a drawing of a canon, drum and flag. It is written on one large sheet of paper, about 12" by 15", folded once, so that the columns of names are on the left edges of each of the four sides. The name "M. Reader" appears on the outside of the folded sheet. The little x's and other markings appear to be attendance records.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Joseph by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Joseph:

Kiser-689 and Keyser-115 appear to represent the same person because: These men are clearly intended to be the same person. The parents are different, but, neither profile provides any original source to support which set is correct. I have found no source with a middle name of Kenton for Joseph. Please add source for this.

A merge was made even after rejection its proposal. Mother Elizabeth Grossgloss was set on the profile and changed during the merge. Correcting back.

Kiser-777 and Kiser-689 do not represent the same person because: The fathers name or date is not the same. Joseph does not have middle name Kenton. These profiles are mixed up. The mother's name on 777 is same as spouse. The tombstone spells his name KISER.

Kayser-167 Unmerged match

These are certainly the same man, just different spellings of the name. Managers need to confer on which he used during his lifetime and which to use in WikiTree. Thanks!

Note: The numbers are unimportant in this case. We merge into the lowest numbered profile with the correct spelling of the last name at birth. Thanks!
