Biography

KISIEL - Ludwig "Lucky" Ludwig was born on August 14, 1926 in the family's home on Penora Street in Depew, NY to Thomas and Constance (Wasikowski) Kisiel. In 1949, he married Jacquelyn M. Stoltz and remained a devoted husband until her death on July 7, 1991. He is survived by his children, Patricia (Paul) Neunder, Larry Vincent (Maggie) Kisiel and Christine Kisiel Greenwald; his son, Michael L. and daughter, Nancy Ann Kramer passed on before him. He was the loving Papa to Jacquelyn (Anthony Lamparelli) and Jonathan Neunder, Thomas (Marci) and Michael Kramer, Ludwig, William and Leah Kisiel, Christopher and Samantha Greenwald. He is survived by great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Victoria and Von Kramer. Louie is the brother of Leonard (late Annette), Joan (late Florian) Helak, Zygmund (Maryann) and Angeline (late Michael) Orlowski who survives him and brother-in-law of Henry Banasik. He is predeceased by Mary Cybulski, Bertha Helak, Hattie Konwiczka, Stella Rogacki, Martin, Irene Brzyski, Rose Bujaw and Agnes and their spouses and Theresa Banasik. He shared his love and life with Alice Kuras, his devoted companion for the past eight years. Lucky was a union carpenter. His passion and hobby was work, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed setting the pace for those around him. At the age of 67, he began to build Kis-N-Green Golf Course with his son and daughters. Lucky was a member of The Elks Lodge #1478, The Elks Golf Team with his son-in-law and friend, Paul and a graduate of the school of hard knocks. He was a generous, hardworking man who applied his trade for family and friends. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations may be made to The Felician Sisters Congregation, c/o Sr. Angelette and Maureen Helak, 600 Doat St., Buffalo, NY 14211. Visitation in the CICHON-BORGOSZ FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4929 Broadway, Monday and Tuesday 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Augustine Oratory, 425 Penora St., Depew, Wednesday at 9:30 AM.
