Abraham Kissinger was born circa Nov 1740 at Berks County, PA. He married Anna Maria Catharina Shaffer, daughter of Jacob N. Shaffer and Maria Barbara Kobel, on 7 Sep 1766 at Trinity Lutheran Church. He died on 11 Nov 1807 at northern Dauphin County, PA.

Could birth date have been 1735? (he was 72 when he died)

References: DAR Patriot Index, Vol. 2, p.123, lists him as a patriot in the Revolutionary War. He began military service Revolutionary War - Berks County militia. Abraham Kissinger (I10375) served in the Revolutionary War under Captain Jon Fulmer's Company of Berks County in the Fourth Battalion of Lancaster County Pennsylvania, Militia.
