Biography

George was the oldest child of Callaway Kissinger and his second wife Sarah Ann Dial.

He married Muriel Henry 2 Dec 1906 in Craig County, Oklahoma. Muriel was age 16 at the time of marriage.^[1]

He was widowed before 1910. He had been married 3 years. In that year 1910 he was boarding in the household of Marian and Stella Brumback in Mayes County, Oklahoma. Stella Brumback was his sister.^[2]

He married Flora Ann Armitage Steidley 2 Oct 1911 in Muskogee County, Oklahoma.^[3] She was a native of Arkansas. Between about 1912 and 1920 they had children: Cecil b ca 1913, Lorena b ca 1916 and Ruth b ca 1918. They were living in Rider Township, Mayes, Oklahoma.^[4]

In 1930 his 80-year-old father Cal Kissinger was living with the family.^[5]

He and Flora and sons Eugene and Carl were living in 1940 in Rider Township, Mayes, Oklahoma.^[6]
