Eldest son of James Prince Albert Kissinger and Martha Jane Adkins.

Mitchell married Maggie White 8 Jan 1891 in Morehead, Rowan, Kentucky.[2]

Mitchell married Amanda Jane Johnson about 1893.

Aged 30 in 1900, Mitchell was married to Amanda and had children Verda E, Rosa and Ernest. Amanda J Kissinger was age 28; Verda was age 6; Rosa was age 4 and Ernest was age 1. Hogtown, Rowan, Kentucky.[3]

Mitchell and Amanda in 1930 were living with their son Homer Kissinger, age 18.[4]

Living with sons Marvin and Homer in 1940.[5]
